AC004: The Hunting Hut

In the middle of a rural forest in central Sweden is a little hut that has been lovingly built with timber from the surrounding pine trees. All of the details are hand carved from the organic looking door handles to the hooks on the wall. Even the tools are hand made. The hut was built in the 1970s by a farmer, as a place to relax after hunting in the forest for elk and deer. Or to camp out if the prey was being too elusive. Now the family gather here at various times throughout the year but the hut is always left unlocked so that forest visitors can nip in to warm themselves by the stove if they get lost.
