Listed buildings are thick on the ground in Caroline and Russell McCleave's part of the world - more than 40 at the last count - but few are surely as historic, or as atmospheric, as the couple's pale pink and oak timbered manor house which overlooks the village green in their picturesque corner of Suffolk.
There's been a community around and about since Doomsday and the house, which was built in the late 1400's has VIP connections - one early occupant being a newly married niece of Henry VIII's Lord Chancellor, Sir Thomas More.
